The Nutcracker Auditions

Join the cast of our 22nd performance of The Nutcracker! Auditions will take place Sunday, September 14th at Storm Dance Alliance.

Important Information:

Cost: $275
$100 Non-Refundable Deposit
Due at Auditions
Includes Rental of All Costumes and Rehearsal Fees. All dancers who audition will receive roles in both performances.

Audition Schedule:

• 11:00 – 11:45 am: Ages 3 to 6 (Studio 2/3)
• 10:45 – 11:45 am: Ages 7 to 9 (Studio 7/8)
• 11:45 am – 12:15 pm: Tumbling Roles Ages 7 – 12 (Studio 7/8)
  • Intermediate level or higher skills required.
• 12:30 – 1:45 pm: Ages 10 to 12 (Studio 7/8)
• 12:30 – 1:45 pm: Special SOLO/DUO Part Auditions Ages 13 & Up**
  • Must be 13 with a minimum of 5 years ballet experience.
  • Pointe Roles should have a minimum of 2-3 years En Pointe
• 2:00 – 3:00 pm: Special Part Audition Ages 10 – 12
  • Must be 10 with a min. of 4 years ballet & technique training.
  • Pointe Roles should have a minimum of 2 years En Pointe
• 2:00 – 4:00 pm: Ages 13 & Up Full Audition (Studio 7/8)
• 4:00 – 4:45 pm: Clara / Pas De Deux Auditions (Studio 7/8)
  • Pointe Shoes Required, Advanced Pointe Level
• 4:00 – 4:45 pm: Advanced Tumbling Auditions Ages 12 & Up (Studio 2/3)

Audition Attire:

• Female: Black Leotard, Pink Tights, Ballet Skirt. Pink Ballet Shoes. Hair in a Bun. *Bring Pointe Shoes.
• Male: Solid White or Black T-shirt, Black Pants or Shorts, Black Ballet or Jazz Shoes.
